The trap and skeet ranges are open daily from 9:30 a.m. until dusk. Members are encouraged to arrive earlier to help setup the fields and socialize. Members are required to pay a $4/per round fee and, non-member guests a $5/per round fee to cover the cost of targets. A round is 25 targets.
Our fields are open year round. The Shooters Den offers warmth in between rounds during the colder months.
Members are encouraged to obtain range officer status for the trap and skeet ranges. By becoming a Range Officer, you will be free to come by the club and use the ranges at any time during normal operating hours. Range Officers will learn how to open up the ranges and how to safely operate the different trap and skeet machines.
Members can obtain range officer status by coming down to the ranges and seeing a committee member on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. with prior scheduling. For more information, email Gifford Perry or John MacKesy, our current Trap and Skeet Committee Chairmen at trapandskeet@maynardrodandgunclub.com

5 Stand Sporting Clays
Maynard Rod & Gun Club offers Five Stand Sundays if there is enough interest. Our set up has 8 wireless controlled traps offering a variety of presentations and targets to our sportsman on Sudbury Skeet Field 1. For those who want a true challenge and enhance your sporting clays skills. Come on down and give it a try. Fees for a round of 5 stand is $5 for members & guests for 25 targets
We are always looking for volunteers to help with setup and closing of the fields.
Stop by Sunday mornings and someone is usually available to answer questions and explain how the sport works. It’s as challenging as it is fun, so if you’ve never shot skeet or trap before, give it a try. All are welcome!
