The Maynard Rod and Gun Club is a member-owned and operated sportsmen’s club and one of the few clubs in the Greater Boston area to offer trap, skeet and 5-stand shotgun shooting ranges as well as indoor and outdoor rifle & pistol ranges and a pistol action shooting range. Established in 1916 the Club set 6 primary objectives that still guide us today:
- Influence the conservation and propagation of the fish, game and other natural resources of the commonwealth
- Promote interest in the legitimate sports with rod, bow, gun, and dog
- Promote good sportsmanship
- Promote good relationships between landowners and sportsmen
- Earn and enjoy the respect of the community
- Promote education and sportsmanship for youth and all sportsmen
