2023 Spring Clean-up

Come join us at our annual spring clean-up! It is a great opportunity to help in prove the club, meet other members, and earn CHITS to reduce the cost of next year’s dues.

When: April 15 & 16 (Rain dates April 22 & 23)

Activities:

General Grounds

  • Picking up branches.

  • Removing the leaves.

  • Removing what brush we can around the pond.

  • Secure a log splitter, splitting the remaining wood and stacking it by the fire pit/picnic area.

  • Jim has some projects that will be ongoing until they are completed.

House and Entertainment

  • Clean the Kitchens

Rifle and Pistol Ranges

  • Repair flag pole

  • Power Wash Concrete

  • Replace Burning Barrels

  • Clear Rifle Range Brush

  • Build Target Holders

  • Pick-up Brass

  • General Trash and Debris Clean-up

Skeet and Trap Fields

  • Sweep/Rake and or blow all Ranges.

  • Cut brush/trees at skeet fields and trap Sudbury side.

  • Vacuum Skeet & Trap House.

  • Empty Burn Barrels.

  • Empty plastic buckets of hulls.

  • Clean and vacuum the Shooters Den.

  • Check the John deer lawn mower for the summer.

  • Check Husqvarna lawn mower Maynard’s side.

  • Cut the grass if needed.

  • Put away the snowblower.

  • Check mouse traps.

  • Check smoke detectors and change batteries Sudbury side.

  • Check paper towels and toilet paper supplies.

  • Replace rotten siding and trim on skeet houses.

  • New roof & trim as skeet houses.

  • Paint skeet house siding.

  • Paint the propane tank and straighten the fence.

  • Clean up trash and debris around buildings and parking lot.

  • Check fence and nail pickets back in and replace them as needed.
