Club Meetings - Next Quarterly Meeting is June 15th

πŸ“… When: June 15th - 3rd Monday of the last month of each quarter
πŸ•– Time: 7:00 PM
πŸ“ Where: Function Hall

Around the Club Grounds...and a few Thank You's!

Pond milfoil remediation is in progress - in case anyone was curious about the black plastic on the shoreline. Thank you to Jim Coughlin for his help on making this happen!

Doing your own Spring Cleaning and have some extras to share?
The Club is looking for...
  • 2x4s for target frames
  • 5 gallon buckets for cleaning up shotgun shells and brass on the ranges
  • Old laptops or tablets for various uses around the Club in our automation efforts
These items maybe the last vestiges of some long finished project that are just cluttering up your garage or basement. What's just in your way may make way for Club improvement!

The Team wants to say THANK YOU to Cheryl T. & Geralyn for putting the screens in on the porch and Johnny & Swanny for getting the ice machine going. Also, to Dawn Moreau for the window boxes planting. It really takes a village to keep everything happening!

Have you seen the Outdoor Range and Action Range Parking lots this week?
Thank you to Gifford Perry and Tom Monahan for taking the lead on ordering materials for the Outdoor Range parking lots. Together with Owen Maron, Alex Gruentzig, Tom Monahan, and David Angelov, they spent the past few days resurfacing the lots — and the project is now complete with fantastic results. (Rocky approves)

Rifle & Pistol News

Please remember that brass clean‑up is mandatory on all ranges — and with the tremendous effort members have already put into tidying the grounds, keeping up this level of care will make a big difference for everyone.

...and don't forget! We host our Thursday Pistol Practices on the first and third Thursday of every month

As the warmer months and better shooting weather are upon us, consider signing up for one of the many training opportunities that we are proud to host! If you are not receiving sign-up notifications, please reach out and we will add you to the distribution list.

Trap & Skeet News

REMINDER: NO HUNTING LOADS ON THE TRAP AND SKEET FIELDS
  • Only target loads 2 3/4” #7.5, 8 or 9
Trap & Skeet Orientations and Rules
πŸ“’ Mandatory Trap & Skeet Orientation πŸ“’
All members wishing to use the Trap & Skeet (T&S) ranges must email trapandskeet@maynardrodandgunclub.com to setup a time. Additionally, if you stop by Sunday mornings, someone is usually available to answer questions and explain how the sport works. It’s as challenging as it is fun, so if you’ve never shot skeet or trap before, give it a try. All are welcome!
πŸ“… Date: Sundays - 8am
πŸ“œ Current Range Rules: T&S Range Rules

A big THANK YOU to Gifford Perry for recently building a new gun rack for the Sudbury trap field! Please roll the gun rack behind the chain fence when done so it doesn’t get run over from Paintball and other guests.
